Now in 2024, DFSD continues to provide dance classes and opportunities to children of all ages in an environment that is comfortable and encouraging.

DFSD strives to provide children and adults with professional dance tuition in an all-inclusive community. Teachers are professional and qualified and will always encourage students to fulfill their potential.

We boast that past students have been accepted into:

Spectrum Dance Studios Full-time Program

Players Theatre Company.

Our AICD Ballet students receive annual monetary scholarships as well as AICD Special Medal Awards.

Our Jazz, Tap & Hip Hop students have received the Top Tier Awards for being marked within the top 5% of Australasia through the APDA syllabus.

We follow the Safe Dance guidelines, practice COVID safe procedures and align with Dance Arts Alliance to ensure our studio is up to date with current government requirements and ensure the physical and overall safety of each and every student.

WHY

1.One of the longest-running studios in the South Eastern Suburbs

We have been successfully running in Oakleigh for 18 years. Starting in a local Community Centre to now having our own specially designed studio which houses over 200 students.

2.Qualified teachers

We are proud of our teachers who are all qualified in their fields and share a passion for dance second to none. Their loyalty to our studio and our students is commendable and their motivation to keep learning an asset.

At DFSD you will be amazed by our winning competition teams and their accomplishments including many qualifying for Nationals & placing National Champions.
